Without first having to download.  Service Tool.  's Canon before it, then follow the steps below to complete

Step 1 to enter Service Mode.

• Off.
• Press the button. Stop / Reset. hold down the On button to turn it on.
• Release the Stop / Reset button while holding down the ON button is pressed.
• Then press the Stop / Reset button for 5 times continuously. Then release both buttons.
• The green light is flashing on the A4 Plain Paper.

Step 2 Use the Service Tool.

• Open the Service Tool.
• The two sheets of paper to print out when the nuke.
• The latter part of the Clear Ink Counter Reset Absorber Main_Black select and click Set.
• A fucntion was finished and will respond OK.
• At the rear of the Ink Absorber Counter Reset Absorber Main_Color select and click Set.
• A fucntion was finished, and it is to respond OK.
• Auto tab to the top.
• Click Start.
• Check Finished answer is OK.
• The printer will print. A message at the top about the "E500 M = V1.050 USB = (C012B6)".
• Then turn off the machine. Then turn it on again.
• Finish
